Why Not Take Your Kid To Your Hair Salon (Instead of the Kid's Salon)
I like getting my hair cut. As a child, I enjoyed going to the salon with my mother, about once every two months. We both had our hair cut by Michael (my mom, aunt, and cousin still goes to him, but alas, I no longer live in Chicago). Michael knows a lot about both of us, as he as been doing our hair for decades. He is not just a hair stylist, but also a very dear friend. When I got married, Michael did my hair, of course. Since moving to Minnesota, it took me quite a while to find my equivalent Michael. Her name is Dee. It's a pleasure to get my hair cut. Having my kiddo's hair cut is a completely different story.

The Jeans Miracle Worker
It was love at first sight. Summer 2002, I was with my friend, Eileen at the Barneys Co-op floor in New York City. We both tried these jeans on in our respective sizes. I loved the fading at the knees and the natural-looking whiskering. The denim was soft and had just enough give... But the placement of those back pockets had me-- my behind looked fabulous! We didn't think twice to buy a pair.

Recycle Your Old Apple Computer For Cash
Our MacBook hit a wall last September. We had very little memory left and it needed a new battery. We couldn't do a lot with that laptop after a while. After chatting with an Apple Genius, I learned I needed at least two external hard drives in addition to the new (refurbished) battery. It would cost us about $400 for everything. Its resale value was about $200? Ugh.

Eliminate A Daily Fight In A Snap
Do you have to share a tube of toothpaste with someone? If so, do you both squeeze the tube from the bottom? Or do you squeeze however you feel like it? What if you share a tube with someone with a different squeeze style? Does it cause a fight? If so, here's a quick solution to keep you both happy.
